cm 7.0.2 wierd noise while in sleep mode

Has anyone ever noticed such a thing.Sometimes when the screen turns off i hear a very wierd noise like "tick tick tack tack" from the speaker.When i press the power and i enter into the launcher the noise disapears,but when the phone enters sleep mode the noise starts again without ending.The only way to solve this is to reboot the phone.But when it reboots if i use the phone there is a high possibility to do this again.Any ideas about what is causing this would be really helpful.Thanks

Check the main CM7 thread; it's reported in there several time; it's a known issue.

You might want to check as it may be fixed now. I'm not sure...

Thanks for the reply cjp666.I made a little search and it appears that the devs are trying to solve this.I hope they will find something soon,this noise drives me nuts...

Wait for N69. Chances are that it will be fixed by then (no guarantees though).

How can I replace the old libaudio.so file with the one posted here? I try it with IO File manager to no avail. I just cannot rename the old file so that I can copy the new one.

Will Root Explorer work out the problem or should I have root permissions? How can I have root permissions on CM7?
