Guest manicyaz Posted May 10, 2011 Report Posted May 10, 2011 (edited) Hello, Just wondetring if anyone else has experienced issues accessing the Transfromer's micro SD Card and internal storage on a Mac. For some reason it does not mount on my machine and I end up having to go borrow someone's PC :-( #Fail Cheers Edited May 10, 2011 by manicyaz
Guest SilentMobius Posted May 10, 2011 Report Posted May 10, 2011 The Transformer uses MTP to expose the storage to a host computer. This avoids the mutual exclusivity problems that USB storage mode caused. Windows has MTP support built in Mac's don't. ASUS has some software that will help I believe. The main problem here is Apple not including support for protocols used on devices that compete with their iP(ad|hone|od) line

Guest Matchstick Posted May 10, 2011 Report Posted May 10, 2011 This is what you need: Android File Transfer Regards, Dave Also be aware that the MicroSD card doesn't appear as a seperate drive rather it's contents appear in MicroSD folder in the root directory. (This appears to be related to the work-around to get MicroSD cards working in Honeycomb)
