Guest morena Posted May 10, 2011 Report Posted May 10, 2011 I got this phone because everyone says it's great but I have a big problem which makes it unusable. While I am having a conversation the phones switches to mute so the other person can't hear me: I can hear them: saying hello, hello, I don't hear you anymore... It doesn't happen all the time but very often. Is there any solution? it may have all the functions in the world but I need to be able to speak with the phone  the phone is unlocked and I have deleted the orange programs, nothing else changed.
Guest Flumpster Posted May 10, 2011 Report Posted May 10, 2011 I used to do this all the time when I first had the phone and I found that I was actually hitting the mute button on the screen with my cheek. My thick hair used to stop the proximity sensor turning the screen off all the time. Check to see if it is that.
Guest Azurren Posted May 10, 2011 Report Posted May 10, 2011 If that is the case then you should get into the habit of "locking" the screen via the power button when answering a call  Just ensure that you don't have the "power button ends call" option ticked xD
Guest morena Posted May 10, 2011 Report Posted May 10, 2011 it may be that I am touching it but how can I stop that? I have used a samsung galaxy and never had any problems ...
