Guest Azurren Posted May 10, 2011 Report Posted May 10, 2011 Hi How do you start your sf from the screen with a pattern as opposed to the on button. Do you mean bringing the device out of sleep using the screen instead of the power button? (Because that's just not possible) Or do you want to know hot to setup a patten lock?

Ok if thats not possible there is a way to keep it awake for longer, but I forgot how do do that.

I think your after menu > settings > display > screen timeout I changed mine too as the default is very quick. also there is a handy app called caffine which will let you toggle a non-sleep mode on and off, more useful on the vega than the OSF as the vega shuts down wi-fi when going into sleep mode so cuts off internet radio streams etc. unless you keep touching the screen but it's handy from time to time on the OSF too. cheers, worto. "Regpon wife keep alive" free from the market links to wifi state and can be set to only keep the device awake while wifi is toggled on (excellent for both the blade and vega) This won't allow the OP to wake his device via the screen mind
