Email help please

I will confess to being a total android newbie, I am used to Windows Mobile.

I have a t-mobile pulse and I cannot get my email to setup on it, I know the passwrod is correct and that the information is correctly entered.

I have done a forum search and cannot find a topic that appears to cover this.

Am I just missing something simple or is there an error in the system and i need to forward everything to a gmail account to get it to sync over.

If any tech wizard knows an answer I will be most grateful

sorry what exactly u wanna say? did u get into market? there its asking u for your mail and so u sign in.or there is the gmail app which u go through and it asks u about the mail.once its done your phone will sync ur contacts, etc.
