Incoming call stopped while surfing/downloading

I am not receiving any incoming calls in my SF while I am downloading from android market, the person calling me cant connect to me. This happens as my download starts and untill the download ends nobody can get me on phone. Do I have to make/change any setting? Pls advise. But my friend using samsung galaxy 551 can receive incoming calls even while downloading from android market.

My network provider is vodafone and my friend network provider is airtel. and both use gprs connection

From memory GPRS uses the same 'signal' as the phone to transmit data instead of voice. When someone calls, the data transfer should be paused until the call has ended - at which point it's restarted. All this is standard protocol - it should happen automatically and I've no idea why it's not working for you.

I research lot and going towards

Its only happening on Vodafone SIMS, I tried with other provided its perfectly working as standard protocol.

I tried couple of vadofone sims all having the same problem.

Do you know what vodafone tech team says: when download no calls will receive so want me to stop downloading. A real unresponsive answer.
