Update.pkg

hi

I have a streak and installed clockwork 2.5 and am trying to use upgrade.pkg. When I hold power and both volumes I get into recovery

with the 2nd option being upgrade from sd card, upgrade.pkg,,,,,,,when I press it it goes into clockwork and only sees zip files I must be doing something wrong.

Gratefull for any help,,,please

Please use multirecovery flasher and put the stock recovery. Then restore from Update.PKG. Clockwork & Streakdroid recovery are to restore from Update.ZIP file or any Zip file. For Update.PKG use Stock Recovery.

How do I know which update.pkg to use I at present have a muii 2.2.1 on th mobile

if possible I would like to get it back to 2.2

The newest build is 354 build, it's 2.2.2, but it's a localized Hong Kong version, not ideal if you're primarily english

Prior to that is 351, same kernel version apparently, still 2.2.2, but a bit older, only posting this cause I haven't tried the 354 build, so I can't vouch for it, this is for the unlocked version of the phone, its WWE (worldwide english), and the most "standard" rom as it isn't for any specific carrier... This will work on ANY Streak, AT&T, O2, unlocked, etc... So you probably want to do this one.

You should get the file on the root directory of your SD card, make sure its named "Update.pkg", then go here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/wiki/index...Streak#Official

grab the recovery for whatever corresponding build (get the 351 recovery, and flash prior to trying to install the update.pkg for 351)
