Vega - webcam problem

Hi All,

OK - I'm getting to grips with my Vega and still loving it. :unsure:

I have a problem though. I seem to be unable to use the webcam as a webcam!

The camera itself works (I've taken a few snaps) but when I try to use skype there doesn't seem to be anyway to set it up.

I've tried a test call but its not working!

Can anyone help?

currently skype for android does not officially have video support but there is a leaked apk going around which does have this feature

I use Oovoo which does have video support. Works fine and it's free.

that's strange - I've just downloaded that and it says that its not yet supported by Vega!

this was extracted from the HTC thunderbolt so it might not work on the vega but its worth a try

Thought i'd bump this thread - as i too looking for a usefulness in the webcam.

I know its not the best quality in the world, but other ways are ppl utilising it?

skype would be soooooooo good.
