Guest veehexx Posted May 11, 2011 Report Posted May 11, 2011 the bigest problem i've been having lately is when i move the phone from my ear when incall it unlocks the screen. great if you want to end the call, but sometimes you dont want to (like to switch ears..) i've had a few long calls recently where i've started dialing numbers or hanging up with ear contact due to the screen still awake. is there anything out there that will disable the proximity/light sensor when incall to stop this happening?

(power button replacement or something?) (its an app) Oh - and there is the power button - unless you have it set to end the call in accessibility options.

Look for Tasker in the App Market, however I recommend you purchase it from the author's website since it will be cheaper and has a 7-day trial. A bit daunting at first, but once you learn the basics it is not difficult to create tasks based on conditions... e.g. During call, keep screen off There are very few things Tasker can not do :)
