Guest grayfoxpt Posted May 16, 2011 Report Posted May 16, 2011 (edited) whenever i run adt to flash the latest bin it always says "Drive Space checking Not pass...", does anyone know what causes this? edit: the space it required was on pc, not on the phone. it's flashing now... Is there something I have to do before using it? I keep getting "Acer_Downloadtool has stopped working. Windows is searching for a solution..." Edit: I dug up an old computer of mine and tried to launch it from there, and it did. Then the old piece of feces broke down on me, but at least I now know there is something conflicting on my usual computer. What I can't figure out is what it could be, it simply won't run!

What I can't figure out is what it could be, it simply won't run! well did U run it in administrator mode ? used to have the same issue, launching adt with administrator privileges solved it for me ;)

When you were using SD Download mode were you using the .zip file?

From that Acer_ug folder there are two .bin files inside that folder. One under acer_ug the other under the next directory which is acer_xx. I'm not sure which one you need to flash using the tool. My guess would be it's the one under acer_xx but I'm not sure so it's probably best for someone to confirm that before trying.

My guess would be it's the one under acer_xx but I'm not sure so it's probably best for someone to confirm that before trying. i have the same concern. why there are 2 files instead of 1? it will be fine to use Acer Download Tool only with the biggest one? Guest skyonesky Posted September 25, 2011 Report Posted September 25, 2011 (edited) connect your liquid to computer with USB turn on USB Debugger inside the phone application options start ADT and select in the "Merged OS file" the bin inside the acer_xx folder press start it will ask something about override, say yes and proceed. i did this with the latest version of ADT (1.285) and i upgraded from 2.2 to 2.3.4 without problems, very easy. I've just bought Liquid MT and used ADT to flash it with the latest ROM (downloaded from offical acer website), OS_Acer_4.000.13.EMEA.GEN1_A23G_A. It worked fine. However, I tried to flash back to the stock ROM, which is 2.2.2, from OS_Acer_1.100.24.EMEA.GEN1_A22F_A. My phone kept looping during the boot, at the android logo. Anyone can help me? It can be recovered by flash the latest ROM again, but I need to downgrade for an exchange in the store. Thanks
