Multi user support ... is possible?

Hello, soon I'll have my Transformer ... I know that android does not support multi user, but, Can a chef like Paul implement it? :unsure:

Unlikely, what would you want it to do? login profiles? separate app storage, separate google accounts?

You could probably rebuild android and build in a /data & /sdcard partition switch. But it would be a hell of a hack (and not until we get the full source)

Yes ... it would be a very hard work, it is unfortunate that android have not included, the tablet is a device that could be used for "family", and have several profiles (google accounst) would be ideal. :unsure:

They said at Google IO they were working on it i think.

Mine should be delivered tomorrow and I was really hoping this could be implemented somehow. As I know the wife will want to use it too and as the idea is that it's a 'coffee table' type device it would be great to be able to 'login' to the Transformer with my gmail account and see my emails, and market account etc or if the missus logins in see her emails and facebook widgets etc.

They said at Google IO they were working on it i think.

They did, in one of the fireside chats they said it's something they're looking into. Although it didn't sound that far along
