Guest Jekle Posted May 12, 2011 Report Posted May 12, 2011 Hi, I know that Orange UK and there services abroad do prepaid (pay as you go) But I'm wanting to buy another Blade (Preferbably ZTE Branded) i've tried numerous operators but google translate won't make sense of it. I know many Operators want you in for a 2 year contract (In in the UK wouldn't apply to me and wouldn't sell it either) There is alot of you Blade users from Europe and If possible could you tell me which operators sell it prepaid and how much is it? And if it is on prepaid do they ship to the UK. In the UK there are independent Mobile Phone sellers like Carphone warehouse, Is there the equivalent in your country? Thanks

Thanks In Sweden you can get a ZTE BLADE with 2.2 Froyo for about 100 pounds (including discount for students which there is an open link where anyone can order at that price I know as i ordered 2) However they do not ship to UK and the phone is locked to Comviq but as we all know its very easy to unlock. I am guessing that to order this and ship it to the UK would cost around 110 pounds if you were seriously interested providing you paid in advance i could order and ship you one (however recorded postage may cost more)

Guest yogayogi Posted May 12, 2011 Report Posted May 12, 2011 You post does give the impression that you have not bothered to search/read the many threads on this forum which deal specifically with SF availability in various countries - eg Spain, France, Switzerland and so on - and then looked at the online shops of the suppliers quoted.
Guest whitelight Posted May 12, 2011 Report Posted May 12, 2011 Why not say which country you are from? That wee Welsh flag is a clue, surely? Out of curiosity, why do you want a Blade from another country rather than an Orange San Francisco?
Guest hecatae Posted May 12, 2011 Report Posted May 12, 2011 That wee Welsh flag is a clue, surely? Out of curiosity, why do you want a Blade from another country rather than an Orange San Francisco? the Welsh have a flag? since when ? amused the Welsh flag is not recognised
Guest Azurren Posted May 12, 2011 Report Posted May 12, 2011 the Welsh have a flag? since when ? amused the Welsh flag is not recognised We have a flag too.. Its just not recognised on this forum :)
Guest Jekle Posted May 13, 2011 Report Posted May 13, 2011 That wee Welsh flag is a clue, surely? Out of curiosity, why do you want a Blade from another country rather than an Orange San Francisco? I'm purely just interested in getting a Completely ZTE Branded ZTE Blade, and I do keep up with these topics like the ZTE Blade in Spain but that involves having to live in Spain and it's a 3 month contract?

There is no 3 month contract in Spain, my original post was a mistake. As it stands now it is just 69 euro. done. You do have to provide with a spanish residency address though.
Guest Pakatus Posted May 13, 2011 Report Posted May 13, 2011 Not Purelly blade...but Portugal has this http://a5.sapo.pt/ It's a ZTE Blade inside, with a 5Mpix cam and TFT screen. Design a little different, you can get it with 149 €...locked to the network, however you can unlock it easilly.
Guest thebrave Posted May 13, 2011 Report Posted May 13, 2011 In France Bouygues sells unbranded (hardware-wise) grey ZTE Blades with OLED screens. It's €169 online and €129 in stores.
Guest C3P001 Posted May 13, 2011 Report Posted May 13, 2011 Sweden 100 pounds no contract and froyo postage as i said would proSPAMly be around ( a rough guess 10 pounds ) so all in about 110 ish pounds not bad, I offered to buy and post this if the OP wanted but of course i expect the money in advance and thats a big trust issue i know ....take it or leave it
Guest Psyloid Posted May 13, 2011 Report Posted May 13, 2011 bought one in belgium, here they are sim unlocked and go for 150€. they are orange branded though and have 2.1 on em, so i ordered one on ebay which was supposed to be unbranded, it doesnt have the orange logo on the back, but it is named sanfrancisco, it had no orange rom, which was 2.1

Guest C3P001 Posted May 13, 2011 Report Posted May 13, 2011 Will they ship to the U.K? I highly doubt it mate and besides its more expensive than the one I told you about as you have completely ignored my offer of help I retract all i said , good luck getting one but I doubt you will find any company that will ship to the UK direct your only chance is via ebay or a member willing to buy and ship you a phone you could have had a ZTE Blade with 2.2 Froyo for around 110 pounds but you showed no interest ...your loss
Guest jayr0m3 Posted May 13, 2011 Report Posted May 13, 2011 about 130 pound in Hungary locked to T-Mobile HU the first thing i did was unlock and to put Vodafone 3G card in it :P Seriously T-Mobile is really lame and in their stores nobody speaks english which makes life really easy for expats :) I did think of getting some more phones but im not sure if i wanna go thru that again ... they checked my id and papers for ages and asked for my health insurance card to buy the phone ... welcome to Hungary
