Guest Motoox Posted June 4, 2011 Report Posted June 4, 2011 When I take a picture at outside, the picture is always complete white in Gingerounay 1.2. Does anyone have same problem?
Guest Nesli Posted June 4, 2011 Report Posted June 4, 2011 read...its written here many times..Just activate anti-shake in camera options :D
Guest astuermer Posted June 4, 2011 Report Posted June 4, 2011 read...its written here many times..Just activate anti-shake in camera options :D With that option selected, there's a 50 percent chance of freezing the camera app. Can anybody confirm that?
Guest Nesli Posted June 4, 2011 Report Posted June 4, 2011 I have no freeze problems, camera is 100% functional for me :D
Guest Tiny Jacky Posted June 6, 2011 Report Posted June 6, 2011 With that option selected, there's a 50 percent chance of freezing the camera app. Can anybody confirm that? Yes, i've got the same problem. ...and i'm waiting for a fix...for a long time can people with camera working with anti-shake on tell me how are all your settings of your camera?(resolution, wb, flash, etc)
Guest liquidx Posted June 9, 2011 Report Posted June 9, 2011 You need a working adb-setup (http://www.xda-developers.com/android/adb-easy-tutorial/). Open "Gingerounay-1.1_signed.zip" using winrar or the like, navigate to "system/app" and copy "Launncher2.apk" to you desktop (or adb directory if you prefer that). Using command prompt send the following: adb remount adb push Launcher2.apk /system/app That's it. Alternatively if u do not have working adb: obtain Launcher2.apk from Gingerounay-1.1_signed.zip and put it somewhere in you sdcard, say /sdcard/apks/Launcher2.apk fireup your terminal emulator, and issue the following commands su mkdir /sdcard/backup/ mv /system/app/Launcher2.apk /sdcard/backup/. cp /sdcard/apks/Launcher2.apk /system/app/. reboot be sure that the Launcher2.apk is in /system/app/ before rebooting ls /system/app/L* good luck
Guest Nesli Posted June 9, 2011 Report Posted June 9, 2011 can people with camera working with anti-shake on tell me how are all your settings of your camera?(resolution, wb, flash, etc) I have just default settings, only changed quality to Fine and antishake on, anyway - after installing Android lockscreen, i had camera FC, so I had to clear cache/data of camera app, maybe this? I noticed, that it is 100pct functional only with flash off ( this week i used MT as scanner in library, more than 500pcx with no probs ;) ), but when is dark and i had flash on, it sometimes freezes...

Guest pisto90 Posted August 3, 2011 Report Posted August 3, 2011 Hi guys, but the overclok when is it avaiable? The games; for example nova 2, is very slow in my metal :(
Guest TechnoLover Posted August 4, 2011 Report Posted August 4, 2011 We have to wait until Acer releases Kernel Source for Gingerbread to overclock our device when running Gingerbread ;-)
Guest vickyexpired Posted August 16, 2011 Report Posted August 16, 2011 can we have circle battery notification????
Guest TechnoLover Posted August 16, 2011 Report Posted August 16, 2011 it would be possible but just for every 5 percent until we have kernel source code ;)
Guest vickyexpired Posted August 16, 2011 Report Posted August 16, 2011 that's good,, better than nothing.....:) how could we get that???
Guest vikings123 Posted August 25, 2011 Report Posted August 25, 2011 First of all : 1. You have to be on the latest GingerBread leak bin. You can find it here : http://localhostr.com/file/smkmP3q/Acer_Li...00_AAP-GEN2.zip - You have to use this version of Acer Download Tools to flash it : http://bit.ly/kH5C0C (ADT_Edit By Ma). 2. You will need an updated version of the recovery for that bin to flash the ROM. V2.0 : http://bit.ly/kEbL7F Download FULL Version 1.1 (update in post #2) See post #2 for 1.2 update V1.1 link is invalid. Could someone put it back or tell me where I can find it?
Guest TechnoLover Posted August 25, 2011 Report Posted August 25, 2011 1.1 is for Gingerbread, too. As you told me in the other Thread you want to use Froyo until official Gingerbread, you should use MetalOunay
Guest vikings123 Posted August 26, 2011 Report Posted August 26, 2011 1.1 is for Gingerbread, too. As you told me in the other Thread you want to use Froyo until official Gingerbread, you should use MetalOunay Yes, I did say I wanted to stay with Froyo. But after a chat with my friend who Metal is running 2.3.3, I decided to give it a shot. So, I flashed Acer_LiquidMT_3.016.00_AAP-GEN2 It is running great. Maybe I will try the latest leak later tonight.
Guest vickyexpired Posted September 13, 2011 Report Posted September 13, 2011 just realised that wifi keeps turning off after being activated..... :(
Guest lodotux Posted September 13, 2011 Report Posted September 13, 2011 I might be mistaken, but, isn't the kernel source code available on acer download site ? It is the only download possible for gingerbread, along with user's manual, and acer sync. May be devs can do something now ?
Guest TechnoLover Posted September 13, 2011 Report Posted September 13, 2011 that's the froyo kernel source code ;)
