(SOLVED) HELP - Windows drivers are not working, cannot upgrade baseband with A1 DL Tool

Ok I have been able to upgrade my baseband in the past, but as of A1-05.01.06(currently on my phone) WindowsXP will not recognize it. every time I plug in my phone it finds new hardware ie. 'HSUSB Android Device'. I have installed the drivers in Dario's pinned post, but no go. Am I missing something ?

Bump, I have the same problem but in Windows 7 after installing LeoGingerBread's LiquidEdition v5.0 beta2. Have tried redownloading drivers from acer tool and it installs them but my device is not recognized and windows update does not find them either. Was working fine before I flashed that rom. Now just multiple entries for Android HSUSB Device.

Download and start officaial ROM Uprgade. It will install drivers succesifully

simply restart your liquid into recovery mode, then acer tool recognized the phone.

Thanks ! Ya that was the problem, I ended up flashing the Liquid Metal ROM and then my PC would see the phone properly. Ya it has something to do with the LeoGB ROM.
