how is the quality of the blade, did you drop it? did the screen resist, did you fall asleep or sit on the blade? any crack on the phone?did it drop from table? result of the 1 meter test on concrete, or carpet?? do you use a soft case, protection, ...I want to know.

I need your full experience before I buy one, I need a solid phone as I put the phone in my leg pocket. I may fall asleep with the weight of my leg on it.

Pretty sure if you sit on anything with a glass screen, it can crack.

Dropped mine on carpet a few times, still works. I also put it in my leg pocket and I don't have any cover or whatever on it.

Battery cover is a bit squeeky but that's about it.

I've dropped mine when holding it twice now and it's come away fine, I do have the sofiz jelly case on it though and both times it made a satisfying thud noise as it kind of bounced more than a smashing noise as all the bits flew off it. As said already I wouldn't recommend sitting on any phone with a glass screen!

Dropped mine from about 1 metre onto concrete with no case & it survived, just a couple of minor scuffs to the rubber. Broke it in nicely?

Same happened to me, no case, dropped onto concrete from about 1m, back cover popped off, battery popped out but it all went back together with nothing more than a scratch on the back cover. I have a jelly case on it now mind!

I didn't drop mine, but the battery cover wont stay closed on one corner.

I have lots of dust between the glass and the LCD.

And the responsiveness of my touchscreen is getting a bit worse after 2 months of use.

The blade doesn't use Glass, it uses thick hard plastic. This does mean the screen has a bit more give from hard shocks. If you turn your screen off, look at it at an angle, observe whatever's reflected in the screen and press on the screen, you'll notice the reflection warping out of shape as you bend the screen.

Despite being all plastic, the blade does feel very well built and sturdy. I can't get any creaks out of mine. That's in stark contrast to the Orange Miami (also made by ZTE), where it feels like it'll fall apart if you just look at it the wrong way.

I feel the blade has more chance of surviving a drop than most other phones.

"Premium" built phones (Full metal unibody, sleek gorilla glass etc) may look stronger, but with sturdy bodies something has to give. And often the "weakest link" is the screen

Or in the case of the Streak, the LCD under the screen

So compared to the latest and greatest the Blade has good odds :)

I've dropped mine twice onto carpet with no protective case and it's survived. I've not dropped it onto any harder surface thankfully! I scratched my first screen protector nicely though so you definitely at least want one of those to replace.

I've never counted but I'm sure i've dropped my phone 3-4 times since having it, mostly on carpet thought, Ive had mine for 7 months now with no damage, even with me sleeping on it on many occasions, but that delivers less force than sitting on it. Its a cheap build, but its tough

I've dropped mine of concrete plenty of times now.. corners have some marks but no affect on functionality! Screens great - but not scratch proof! use a protector!

I've dropped mine a couple of times texting while walking, needless to say, all the pavement could do was scratch the corner.

Dropped mine twice onto a hard tiled floor, annoyingly I didnt have a screen protector or case on it at this point as it was early days.

First time it was fine, the second time it landed power button down, and the back cover flew off, this resulted in some small visible scratches to the grey rubbery coating around the power button and headphone jack as it protrudes slightly from the rest of the phone. The white phones I believe don't have the rubbery coating and instead are hard plastic (correct me if im wrong) so this might show surface scratches more?

Either way the screen did not get even the slightest hair line dust mark on it, I assume its tough glass and not just plastic, since then I got a screen protector and hard/jelly case for it off ebay  It feels bullet proof now!

I dropped mine on concrete once, but I keep it in a thick leather case (http://www.mytrendyphone.com/shop/bugatti-country-case-20734p.html this one) and it still works as a charm. The quality of the Blade seems ok. Some people here have had problems with squeaky back cover, but I haven't come upon a single issue concerning the build quality whatsoever. The case that I use gives my Blade a lot of protection. I'm planning on trying to use a silicone case as the one i have is a bit too big.
