ANOTHER Official Firmware update ?!? (13-May)

Looks like Samsung have rolled out another update only a day after KE1.

Only things that looks to have been updated is the PDA to KE2

Current firmware version : PDA:KE1 / PHONE:KDJ / CSC:KE1 (O2U)

Latest firmware version: PDA: KE2 / PHONE:KDJ / CSC: KE1 (O2U)

Wonder what they broke in KE1 ? :unsure:

i updated today via kies on an uk O2, unlocked hand set. Now showing - pda:KE2 Phone:XXKDJ CSC I9100O2UKE1 build info states 6th May??

Noticed something with the KE2 firmware.

Cell standby seems to be a far higher percentage now.

But phone idle barely gets touched. Wouldn't best battery savings occur if phone idle worked correctly?

Just a quick heads-up..

If you're on Orange UK you may find that this update (when installed over KIES) results in your com.android.phone process force closing all the time, leaving you with a veritable paperweight. I've had to fall-back to KE1 to sort the problem.

my o2 SGS2 just did a camera firmware update via the "Samsung Apps" widget. don't know whats changed?
