Using a Liquid to create a tablet???

Hi all,

I supose the straight and short answer is NO, but a couple of days ago I was thinking what to do with my recently replaced Acer Liquid and I thought that, if possible, its specs could make a very decent 7-10 inch tablet.

The concept is very simple: replace its battery with a better one and the tricky part which would be replacing the screen for a bigger one. The last step would be to create a decent body for the monster.

I know there're spare kits for this phone and it's possible to replace the screen, but what I'm not too sure about is the grade of compatibility that's possible with other components, how similar is a led screen from another, if it's possible to change resolution...

So what do you think? Does it look possible? Has anyone tried it before even with other phones?

Thanks a lot.

I think that the 7inch screen with the battery will cost as a low-end tablet, that, in my opinion, is what you should get with a Liquid hardware, if you'll be able to make it work somehow.

Anyway, I think it would be an intresting concept
