4.008.08.EMEA.VFIT vs 4.002.14.EMEA.GEN1_A22F_A

Hi all,

ive been on 4.008.08.EMEA.VFIT + t&l .08 right now on my liquid a1

I wanted to flash back to 4.002.14.EMEA.GEN1_A22F_A after reading some posts that 4.008.08 uses more battery than 4.002.14. I think something to do with 4.008.08 being only fit for vodafone italy and if your not in this network it tends to use more battery. I dunno how true this is. I just wanted to ask you guys is it worth it to go back to 4.002.14. in terms of gettiing more battery hours and compatibility with current and upcoming custom roms out there.

I noticed only a slight difference, maybe 1%/hour vs 1.5-2%/hr idling, so it may not be worth the hassle of switching. It could've been a fluke, I had sipdroid running before in 4.008.008.EMEA.VFIT and more recent version allows completely exiting the app so it doesn't run a background service, so maybe that contributed.
