Pulse 8220 3G only 1.8 Mbps why so slow ?

Hello, Hauwei 8220 owner here, how are you.

I have a problem, or do I ? maybe device can't do better than 1.81 Mbps .Anyway it's not abot the quality of network signal, because my brother in law with samsung I9000 or Iphone can do near 5 - 7 Mbps in the same places.So it's not network issue.I thougt that maybe it's custom rom issue, but no matter which rom I use FLB 1.6b / 1.7 or cynogen 0.40, the speed is the same.

Anyhow, can you people do better speeds on your devices, than I can on mine, is there a way to boost speed ?

For me I can not tell, my 3G provide only max speed ~1.5mbps, so both my SE X10 or ARC are running the same speed as u8220. but in general, I do find it u8220 slower than others.

Well, what you pay are what you get.
