Guest dixonworld Posted May 14, 2011 Report Posted May 14, 2011 I've just purchased Battleheart from the market and it's failing to download due to their being insufficient space on the device for the download. Rooting around in logcat and then consulting the web I found the following: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/4850889...-android-market This is exactly what is happening, and the developer claims he is unable to do anything about it. Would any of you guys on here know ( in laymans terms ), how to go about modifying the size of the download cache on the vega? Derrick

If you make a complete backup of your device, then restore using nvflash, you can specify the size of the cache partition. This can be done using the one click restorer on my website (sig). Just back up your device using it, then before you restore, go into the restorer/tools directory and open flash.cfg using your favourite text editor. I -BELIEVE- partition of id=9 is the cache (thus the name CAC). changing the size field here will allow you to make it larger. If you then restore with the updated flash.cfg, your cache should be larger. I think Buzz posted a guide to doing this in the competition if you want more info. Zeb
