Guest UKtechhead Posted May 14, 2011 Report Posted May 14, 2011 I bought a San Francisco (ZTE Blade) Wayy back in October last year - 7 months ago! I paid £99 + top up. Everything about the blade is great. Any slightly better handsets out or coming? Don't mention the skate!

Guest Azurren Posted May 14, 2011 Report Posted May 14, 2011 The next "budget" upgrade from the Blade is the Motorola Defy ARM 7, Flash Although you can get some second hand HTC desires / Galaxy S's for around the same price
Guest The Alpha Gamer Posted May 14, 2011 Report Posted May 14, 2011 Don't mention the skate! But that is the next model up
Guest Azurren Posted May 14, 2011 Report Posted May 14, 2011 But that is the next model up Well if it has an ARM6 processor it is more of a sidestep for a bigger screen  Yes its clocked higher but it shouldn't make much of a difference

Got on the train and bought it. It's a great little phone! Thanks! And since it was only a few months old, and I paid almost the same price as a new Blade, I'm pretty happy too. :)
Guest slitz Posted May 14, 2011 Report Posted May 14, 2011 I thought Motorola locked their bootloaders?
Guest UKtechhead Posted May 14, 2011 Report Posted May 14, 2011 (edited) I thought Motorola locked their bootloaders? Might sell it on then soon if that's the case. But for now I am happy. PS. Also... by the way... the speakers on this phone are amazing! Way better than the Blade. And the camera is much more responsive. All round the whole thing is a joy to use. Feels like an upgrade for sure! Edited May 14, 2011 by UKtechhead

Guest Denzo Posted May 14, 2011 Report Posted May 14, 2011 Huawei Ideos x5 came out recently, by the looks of the specs they are almost the same as those of Desire Z, the chip is the same anyway, and I think it shouldn't be too expensive. But its a Huawei, so I wouldn't take it without warranty.
