Guest phil8715 Posted May 15, 2011 Report Posted May 15, 2011 I had the VegaComb Alpha 4 rom installed on my Vega. But I want to upgrade to VegaComb Beta 1, which I understand you need to flash back to either stock rom or the Modaco R8 rom. The problem I am having is that I can't get the ADB to work, although I was able to flash the stock 1.09 rom onto my vega, this is where I am now. What happens is I follow all the instructions to run the ADB drivers, it comes up in device manager but it always gets unsuccessfully installed and reverts back to Nvidia drivers. When I try to run the AUDI software I get this error message: Error copying DEVCON.EXE could not find a part of a path c:\users\xxxx\deskstop\Advent Vega Stuff\ amd64\DEVCON.exe.. Please refer to the manual steps for DEVCON on the Modaco forum. I am also trying to install ClockworkMod Recovery via easy install but I think I have to the ADB drivers intalled to enable me to do this. Has anybody got any ideas? Please note that where it says xxxx it's my personal data.

Create a new folder called AMD64 as a subfolder of your "Advent Vega Stuff" folder and copy devcon.exe into it. That should fix the issue.

Guest simonta Posted May 15, 2011 Report Posted May 15, 2011 No probs BTW, please report problems on the original thread. It's only by luck that I found this and the goal of Audi is to stem the flood of driver posts like we're seeing now. Lots of people benefit from fixes.
