Headphone sound low

When listening to music using headphones, it is not loud enough, even with the volume turned to max. My iPod is 2x louder than the Blade with headphones. Is there anything i can do to make my Blade loud?

upgrade to cm7. its noticably louder.

I disagree my CM7 is noticably quieter

I have found the sound level from the stock radio is very low but if I stream radio via the Absolute Radio app for example, the level is much louder and is quite acceptable.

Change your headphones. Look out for the impedance. Anything lower than 16Ohms will be noticeablly loud on the Blade.

Use PowerAMP as your music player app instead of what you have now. PowerAMP has an EQ settings called "preout", which you use to boost the volume output a bit. There's a free 2 week trial on the market so check it out before you buy!
