Guest zenchan Posted May 15, 2011 Report Posted May 15, 2011 Like many people here, I got a Pulse towards the end of 2009 on an 18 month contract with t-mobile, then moved over to the San Francisco/Blade as a fantastic Android replacement. My contract is now up, I'm still quite happy with the San Francisco but I can get the following, amongst others, free: HTC Wildfire LG Optimus 1 Samsung Galaxy Ace Xperia X8 For a little extra (£40) I could also get an LG Optimus Black Are any of these actually significantly better than the San Francisco, particularly in screen resolution? I'm not interested in games and suchlike so raw power isn't as important to me, the most important thing for my use of the phone is really screen size/quality. I might just get one and eBay it. Cheers in advance for anyone that has read this far

Guest Denzo Posted May 15, 2011 Report Posted May 15, 2011 Which is cheaper and which is better, Huawei Ideos x5 with a MSM7230 @800mhz, which is pretty good, just like Desire Z or Optimus BLack's TI OMAP 3630 @ 1ghz. Of course I still trust LG more as it is more reputable than Huawei. Optimus black looks sleek tho.
Guest HMZX Posted May 15, 2011 Report Posted May 15, 2011 Go for the Optimus Black. that link is for the optimus gt540??
Guest darkado Posted May 15, 2011 Report Posted May 15, 2011 go for the most expensive one. sell that and the blade and buy acer iconia smart (1024x480)

Well - there are a few 480x854's and the atrix is qhd  But no really-blade has a top of the range screen in a low end device :)
