Guest liamb1234 Posted May 15, 2011 Report Posted May 15, 2011 hi guys, ive been having some trouble installing the new hc rom beta1. i did have alpha 4 on then i went back to stock so i could install the new beta1. trouble is i was advised to up date my usb driver in which case i had to delete them so i could install the ones that cam with pauls. so to cut a long story short, when i boot into recovery and my computer is connected it now asks for the driver, when i manually locate it, the computer says thats not the one and says it cannot install the apx. my intention was to install, r8 again then beta1 of hc via CWM? is there a way i can make my computer totally forget my vega so i can start fresh???? please help ?

Search for AUDI, use that tool. I suspect that the main issue is that you are confusing the recovery USB drivers, used to flash the "stock" ROM and are only supplied with the Advent updates on their website and the ADB drivers used to install r8 and CWM. One of the things AUDI does is make your PC forget all about the Vega before it installs the correct drivers.
