Guest Smallville CK Posted July 22, 2011 Report Posted July 22, 2011 (edited) I flashed again Gtalk from xda and now it works! I can see and watch people I call, and they can see me (obviously with retro camera), but the only problem is that they can hear me! I tried to press mic button on gtalk, but mic doesn't work. Is there a way to make it work?? Edited July 22, 2011 by Smallville CK
Guest Smallville CK Posted July 24, 2011 Report Posted July 24, 2011 Sorry again for the up, but no one can help me?
Guest carol1210 Posted August 14, 2011 Report Posted August 14, 2011 (edited) Sorry again for the up, but no one can help me? Try to use LeoGingerBread's LiquidEdition v5.0. When I used LiquixNext 1.7.2 rom I have encountered the same "voice" problem as you. The video works but the other side can't hear my voice (I have tested with PC and LG Optimus 2X). Then I flashed back to LeoGingerBread's LiquidEdition v5.0 rom and both video and voice work well now!!! Edited August 14, 2011 by carol1210

Guest carol1210 Posted August 14, 2011 Report Posted August 14, 2011 Can I flash only LeoGB's gtalk? No...I don't think so...It seems LiquixNext rom is not compatible with gTalk video chat. I have tried almost every modified versions of gTalk 1.3 available out there but still no luck. As someone mentioned in the previous posts, I think LeoGB's 4.28, 5.0 and Miui 1.5.13 work well with the video chat function. BTW, that gTalk app in LeoGB's rom is not with the video chat funtion, u need to flash a modified apk to make it work.

Guest carol1210 Posted August 14, 2011 Report Posted August 14, 2011 (edited) So, in LeoGB there's only voice chat, isn't it? Without video? NO...in LeoGB's original gtalk, no video and voice chat. You NEED to install/flash a modified gtalk 1.3 apk to enable both function!!! check here: http://forum.xda-dev...d.php?t=1056793 after install it, both video and voice chat work perfectly.
