Ive tried instslling a few custom roms but wheneve i do, they wont boot correctly, they flash up theyre booting screens then stop and the vega then does nothing. Ive tied corvus5 via flashing, then i tried to install honeycomb via cwm recovery on pauls r8. I can get the alpha versions to work, but for some reeason these dony, its caused me so many problems the past two days, id really love to get hc working complete but its proving to be a pain. If any one can help me that would be geat, why does it half boot? Thanks guys!

Not sure i understand fully what rom you are coming from but just to be clear you cant go from alpha to beta because of the partition size so why not just flash back to stock 1.09 from recovery then install recovery and cwnm using vega tools and then use the newly installed recovery apk to get into cwm recovery and install beta1 from here

Anywho from r8 i haVe tried to install beta 1 and it didnt work it would flash up android for a boot screen but thn just keep on re- appearing till eventually the vega would switch off? Any ideas? Thanks
Guest Unipete Posted May 16, 2011 Report Posted May 16, 2011 I think you need to do a wipe/ clear caches etc before you flash beta 1. Worked for me and stopped boot looping.

Don't think so boot looping is where vega just keeps running through its boot animation, just a thought how long do you wait once Vega appears to do nothing? The first time you boot a new flash can take a while to get up running so to speak
