Original Orange 2GB SD Card formatted FAT16

I wouldnt bother - get a 16 or 32 Gig card. Partition to add an ext area. Let Clockwork do the job, I think it will use fat32

Why would partitioning make the card more efficient? I've never even considered partitioning SD cards tbh

Having your apps on a separate partition on your SD card (in theory!) means you can enable USB storage to transfer files to and from the other (main) SD card partition and still run apps that are on the other partition.

That's about the only advantage i can see in partitioning an SD card.
