Custom roms damn laggy / I want the stock 2.2 rom

Im running Swedish Spring 5 (cpu overclocked to 719) now and its damn slow and laggy, even with the stock 2.1 rom and not overclocked my phone was faster.

Why is Swedish spring 5 slower than the stock roms ?

Where the hell can i get the 2.2 stock rom cuz im tired of the swedish crap ?

you want speed? performance? change of UI whenever you want? battery life? Cyanogenmod 7 is the way to go ...

Atleast in Finland and Sweden there are 2.2 stock roms.

If you buy a new blade you will get it with 2.2.

So you are wrong. :unsure:

N70+ fixed it.

alot of changes have happened to cyanogen this week that many people don't know due to past performance and people still stating it as buggy.

Found the stock 2.1 rather slow myself.

Of course there is a stock 2.2 in Sweden that's what Swedish Spring was based on :unsure:

Have you tried a different launcher in ss may help, I preferred the one in CM7 so put that on, seemed faster. Trying CM7 now again personally, seems fast enough, still can't find a t9 keypad I like on there though.

Let's ask it this way, what makes you think SS is worse than stock ROM? Stock ROM has no root, no AppWidgetPicker, no automatic /cache as tmpfs, has no HW acceleration by default, can't be overclocked, doesn't have Dark Tremors A2SD built in and all the other small bits. I can't imagine how a stock ROM would be faster or better in any way. If you're trolling, then I've been trolled.

Seriously man KK is like a god on this forum he does put a lot of time and effort into his work. You could try downloading the stock ROM and removing and adding stuff to suit your needs. This is the wrong forum for complaints. Don't like it then f**k off

Functionally yes, but it SS way better in terms of battery usage. (Same as T-Mobile Hungary stock 2.2 for me).
