Guest WelshPhil Posted May 19, 2011 Report Posted May 19, 2011 Hi Guys My Vega seems to keep dropping my home Wi Fi, it will be fine for a few minutes, then I have to stop Wi Fi then restart the Wi Fi and all is well again for a few minutes, then it drops again! All my other devices seem fine (PS3, Kinde, IPhone 4) any ideas?

There is a post of another member with the same problem and his solution: Is it just my Vega that sucks?

Guest mxbob Posted May 19, 2011 Report Posted May 19, 2011 Ive had this issue since getting my vega Seems the vega just doesn’t like my router Always requires a router reboot to sort Later roms seemed to make it happen less Best solution I found was using a wifi widget which gave me a button on my homescreen that turned wifi on and off For some reason turning it off and on via the widget would allow it to reconnect when turning off and on via the setting menu wouldn’t My router is running the latest firmware available and buying a new router isn’t really an option not a huge issue for me but is kinda annoying
Guest il_cholo Posted May 20, 2011 Report Posted May 20, 2011 I had a similar problem with a linksys wrt320@dwrt firmware, problem was that antennas were set up to auto transmission, I set it up to manually so one antenna is dedicated to receive and the other to send, after that issues disappeared.
