Guest magictoast Posted May 19, 2011 Report Posted May 19, 2011 I'm on Rogers and running baseband "A1-05.01.05" and t&l .14. While I get way better battery and response from the phone, the people on the other side say there is a wicked echo... I searched and found some old threads that were fairly inconclusive... Anybody have any ideas on what I could try to squash this? Thanks in advance!
Guest magictoast Posted May 25, 2011 Report Posted May 25, 2011 awesome, 70+ views and no suggestions.. I guess I'll begin the process of trying different bins and possibly roms to find better results.. was hoping somebody had already done so or had some ideas..

Other people complain about echo on my phone too. I have tried other roms and there is still echo. My brother has same phone with different rom and he has problems with echo too.
Guest brunog Posted May 25, 2011 Report Posted May 25, 2011 sometimes if i hang up and get the person to call me back the echo decreases or goes away. a fiew times ive called my brother and we both complain about echo. we have to hang up and call back. could it just be the network????

Guest JF-Gino ld Posted May 25, 2011 Report Posted May 25, 2011 Ya, my old Liquid also echoed. It did not do it over bluetooth or on a headset. I thought maybe the earpiece volume was too high. Even at its lowest settings it still did it. Agreed if you re-call the person, it could clear up completely. This was an issue that never got solved.
