Guest devoluti0n Posted May 20, 2011 Report Posted May 20, 2011 (edited) I know there is a patch for this supposed to restore the cache, but well, it never worked for me. Here is a quick workaround I found. If when you reboot you haven't the sim pin code pop-up (sorry for my english, I mean the pop-up where you have to enter your pin code), do the following : Settings -> Location & Security -> Set up SIM card lock : Here, untick "Lock SIM card" and enter your PIN code. Then signal should be back, or at least, it worked for me. Feel free to tick it back, but you will certainly lost it again if you do once you'll reboot. You should keep it unticked until a patch is provided. Hope I helped or even better, might have given ideas to devs about how to solve this issue. All the best ! :P Edited May 20, 2011 by devoluti0n
Guest bxorw Posted May 20, 2011 Report Posted May 20, 2011 Don't user button restart your phone.. If you use this step. Can close your phone and reboot. Maybe it has signal... Guest fetaboy Posted May 20, 2011 Report Posted May 20, 2011 Has been worked for you before with this firmware what you use now? If not I think the problem is the sim card, old version. You have to change in the shop and ask a new version sim card. That was the way for me.
Guest devoluti0n Posted May 20, 2011 Report Posted May 20, 2011 My version is 4.002.02 and I also had it with 4.008.08. Note that this bug does not occurs with 2.2 roms. I'm sure this is a bug of thePasto kernel or cm7 roms. I'm not the only one experiencing this. So I've nothing to buy, it's a software issue.
Guest peixinho Posted May 20, 2011 Report Posted May 20, 2011 Yea, I had this bug also, flashed today with f1rst's rom and untl now it didn't happened and I have rebooted it a few times to check this issue.
