Guest abye Posted May 27, 2011 Report Posted May 27, 2011 Guys, I have the same problem... Is there any solution? No solution. It just a special case for some device.
Guest frantic777 Posted May 27, 2011 Report Posted May 27, 2011 Then is there any way to get log output? I'm pretty sure it is possible to fix this.
Guest abye Posted May 27, 2011 Report Posted May 27, 2011 Then is there any way to get log output? I'm pretty sure it is possible to fix this. When applied a OC/UV kernel, the phone won't boot and can't connect to computer to get logcat.
Guest frantic777 Posted May 27, 2011 Report Posted May 27, 2011 Probably there is a way to show log on screen instead of useless logos?
Guest frantic777 Posted May 27, 2011 Report Posted May 27, 2011 By the way, few times my phone did boot with eternity kernel 2.3FY...
Guest frantic777 Posted May 30, 2011 Report Posted May 30, 2011 Guys, Finally found solution! The problem is in the overclocking over 1.2 Ghz. I built EternityProject kernel with OC limited to 1.2 Ghz and got working EP2.3 kernel which gives 3739 points in Quadrant bechmark (The only bad thing is that vibration does not work at all :D ) here is boot image boot-new.img

EDIT : my bad.... system not mounted in recovery... EDIT 2 : still looking where is the problem.. Edited July 23, 2011 by ilos
Guest ilos Posted August 3, 2011 Report Posted August 3, 2011 bump !! anyone to help US ? i still can't flash any custom kernel on stock rooted rom -_-
Guest yukkio Posted August 4, 2011 Report Posted August 4, 2011 Here's the fix http://goo.gl/tcfEU BR.
Guest Jay-V Posted August 5, 2011 Report Posted August 5, 2011 (edited) Here's the fix http://goo.gl/tcfEU BR. Thanks. But what exactly is the fix? To create the folder 'init.d' before flashing the kernel? Or to put the attached file into the folder before/after flashing? I am on the latest stock firmware (V10c - 0622) and tried to flash the latest NeoBlaze kernel (040811) which already includes 'init.d' but the device won't start. Any further suggestions? Thanks Edited August 5, 2011 by Jay-V
Guest yukkio Posted August 5, 2011 Report Posted August 5, 2011 The folder must be created before flash the kernel. Create the directory, copy the file and flash the kernel. Br.

Guest yukkio Posted August 5, 2011 Report Posted August 5, 2011 (edited) May be the problem is the permissions of the file and the directory. Edited August 5, 2011 by yukkio
Guest abye Posted August 5, 2011 Report Posted August 5, 2011 May be the problem is the permissions of the file and the directory. Yes! I tested it. It boot. Thank you.
