I can never go into the clockworkmod recovery screen while pressing the volume down key with the power key. Besides, my phone is switched on with the android logo only. Is my phone bricked? Any method can recover it?

1. Downloaded files GEN2 to GEN1 Windows v2.zip, recovery-clockwork-3.1.0.1-blade-gen1-update_signed.zip, recovery-clockwork-3.1.0.1-blade-gen2-update_signed.zip, restore_stock_recovery.zip.

2. Boot my phone into recovery mode and saw the words FTM.

3 .Connect my phone to my PC via USB.

4. Run 'download_nochecksGen2.exe' of GEN2 to GEN1 Windows. Pressed Start button and completed with 100%.

5. Disconnected my phone reboot into clockworkmod recovery, but mistakenly choose the recovery-clockwork-3.1.0.1-blade-gen2-update_signed.zip to install.

6. Install a gen1 ROM, after reboot it only show the android logon no matter I press the volume up or down together with the power button.

Why do you think so? That thread involved a boot loop after the upgrader failing whereas in this thread the upgrader finished and the phone booted into stock recovery and then clockworkmod correctly. From what I can see, this problem involved a mistake flashing the wrong version clockworkmod and then trying to install a ROM when clockworkmod was running from /boot.
