Problems with Recovery

I have quite an annoying problem with my Blade, as i am trying to Restore Factory Settings and to use the Recovery, it is getting stuck on the Android Logo that shows on the start up... I can't seem to find what the problem is, I also tried to restore settings and still the same logo comes up. Please if there is anyone that can help me out i would be very greatful :rolleyes: As i am trying to install the CM.7

have you installed clockwork .is your phone unlocked .have you rooted it.

please lok on the forum lots of people will help you.and what buttons you use to get into clockwork.we all will help.

i had the same problem....try installing the older version of clockwork recovery .....i installed it from rom manager app......it worked for me....

Yes my phone is rooted, the Modaco Icon Comes up also when i start up my phone. I use the ROM Manager , I press Reboot to Recovery and nothing comes, except the android icon that shows on start up. Thanks

sounds like you have a gen1 phone.

rom manager now installs recovery for GEN2 phones.

either, install a older clockwork (eg. 3.0.1.4 for gen1) and then a n39 or before nightly.

or upgrade to gen2 (see wbaw's pinned tpt method) and then install the latest gen2 nightly (see the link in my sig for the cm7 nightlies)

EDIT: I recommend the upgrade to gen2 option :P

Can you please send me the Method and Links to upgrade gen2... Sorry i'm still new in messing up with my Blade <_< Forgive my noobnes :P
