Guest awarner [MVP] Posted February 12, 2003 Report Posted February 12, 2003 Here are some instructions for you http://www.bornsloppy.co.uk/dust.htm But you will invalidate the warranty if you do this. So your best bet is to ask Orange for a nice new shiney one. :)
Guest CFP Posted February 12, 2003 Report Posted February 12, 2003 yea i know that, but orange are so long time to di these thing in Denmark and i will take them about 10 days and they can only give me a siemens c25, and that telephone suchs
Guest CFP Posted February 12, 2003 Report Posted February 12, 2003 I have just read your link, but i can't push the to the to bottoms down, what am I doing wrong?
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted February 12, 2003 Report Posted February 12, 2003 Sorry but I don't know :) (the two grey flanges in the bottom you mean?) I have never taken my phone apart as I am one of the lucky few who has never had dust under the cover.
Guest Gorskar Posted February 13, 2003 Report Posted February 13, 2003 i have a little but of dust under the top of the screen, but not enough to worry me yet. More annoying is that somehow a small hair has gotten in. Either that or it is a hairline crack in the glass, but I dont think it is, as it looks like a hair, and is curved like a hair.
Guest Richie M Posted February 13, 2003 Report Posted February 13, 2003 I have heard that you can put a vacuum cleaner nozzle on the earpiece and it should suck out the dust. Try this at your own risk though as obviously you could damage the speaker. Havent tried it myself, not that brave and i got no dust.
