is the advent vega tablet for me?

i've been thinking of buying a tablet for when i go into sixth form next year, something more portable than my heavy laptop. i looked at the acer iconia tab at first but then came across the advent vega. since i'm a tablet newbie i need some help from those who know more about tablets than me. i'm looking for a tablet that will be good for writing essays and doing presentations. the advent vega seems to fit exactly what i need (with the easy to use built in keyboard and the usb port so i can transfer my work onto usb for printing) and it has an amazing price compared to other tablets on the market now.

if you have/had one would you recommend it for what i need? or is there a better tablet out there for my needs with a good price too?

(i do live in the UK and i don't want to buy offliine, so if you suggest a tablet please make sure it's available in the UK first)
