Guest Asselberghs Posted May 23, 2011 Report Posted May 23, 2011 Hi Guys:) I am about to purchase a Samsung Galaxy S II and I am thinking about selling my old phone, Desire obviously heh. But I want to bring my 32 gb SD Card with me over to my new phone. I am going to factory data reset ofc. but if I create an ext3 1 gb partition on the standard 4 gb card will the phone accept this as A2SD+ storage without corrupting the phone? If I just take it out and stick the stock SD card in I presume everything will go haywire. Can“t really sell it if I corrupt it by switching SD cards. But seen as there are no apps at the point and it just needs to work going forward I presume it should. Can this be done? I thought I might as well ask if some of you have been in this situation before. Kind Regards Asselberghs
Guest EddyOS Posted May 25, 2011 Report Posted May 25, 2011 You need to do a factory reset otherwise it'll be looking for apps no longer there. Other option is to do a nandroid, swap cards and restore the nandroid and it should work. If you're selling it, though, you should reset it back to 100% stock
