I am trying to get very high quadrant score, just for fun, but i dont know how. I have stagefrights and Hardware acceleration enabled, i'm running cm7 n84. What else should i do? i also have oveclocked to 710mhz, and heapsize set to 48m. I get about 950-1000 score. Tips?

Edit: Could a moderator move this to ZTE Blade - Blade.MoDaCo.com? i failed in this one.

You only get fake scores if you run a Froyo based ROM with Stagefright enabled. CM7 has the fix for StageFright, and thus, provides a valid score.

Then WOW. Never thought Blade could go so high with quadrant.

Use either:

adb shell mount -t tmpfs tmpfs /data/data/com.aurorasoftworks.quadrant.ui.standard

(or)

adb shell mount -t tmpfs tmpfs /data/data/com.aurorasoftworks.quadrant.ui.advanced

Depending on whether ur using Quadrant standard or Advanced.

I end up with between 1600 & 1800

Are you sure?

I couldn't find a single line about stagefright in the build.prop nor can i hardware decode h.264 mp4s.

You have to add the lines in manually

Or, you can use blade buddy to enable them, like i did.

At least with a QAEP source build (2.2.2) if they are not present it means its enabled.

(At least the cli tool / quadrant is working fine on my current build and it doesn't change anything

if the lines are added.)

I think this is because of the fact that gingerbread has stagefright enabled by default, and since it is fixed in 2.2.1 and above, you shouldn't pay to much attention to it.

If it doesn't decode, then it is something that has to do with the libraries I guess...
