Work on blade? Looks pretty "dang cool"!!! Would this benefit or slow down our blades during gaming? Cause it could: 1)slow them down by converting textures 2)speed them up because converted textures are faster to load/use 3)A combination - better performance but lag behind as it proccessessessesss stuff Or of course, as usual, I am completely wrong :P Will try that out, actually  EDIT: Oh, the market link says 1ghz+ only <_< But still... Guest k0zmic Posted May 24, 2011 Report Posted May 24, 2011 Apparently, this lets Non-Tegra devices play some Tegra games. Someone test please!

Guest k0zmic Posted May 24, 2011 Report Posted May 24, 2011 (edited) I couldn't rest so I just installed, booted okay, Live Wallpapers still work. Link about Tegra Games working without Tegra: http://www.androidpolice.com/2011/05/24/pl...th-chainfire3d/. Angry Birds feels a bit smoother, Asphalt's textures won't load (more to do with Stagefright since it works on SS RLS5) Edited May 24, 2011 by k0zmic

Im on Cm7.03 I will try some stuff now its booted back up
Guest k0zmic Posted May 24, 2011 Report Posted May 24, 2011 (edited) CM7 N78. You need this Nvidia plugin to get Tegra Games to work. Extract and put .so on root of SD Card and then go into Chainfire and do the find plugin thing. Unrelated: Do you find CM7 takes quite long to boot up compared to Froyo ROM's? Guest Mushroom_Lord Posted May 24, 2011 Report Posted May 24, 2011 (edited) I really Cba to download a "HD" game just to test this out, cause thats basically what its trying to do :P Closest thing i've got it Raging thunder. Which I shall try anyway! EDIT: tried it out: runs pretty smooth! But still not lag-free; though i was connected to the internet and only have the free version, and ads kill performance! Also I have a live wallpaper :L Oh, and on that note, check out nexus revamped. Select the framerate to 80 fps and drool as it performs ridiculously well! Edited May 24, 2011 by Mushroom_Lord
Guest k0zmic Posted May 24, 2011 Report Posted May 24, 2011 (edited) Test 1: Backbreaker THD loaded fine till it got to the game and textures became all messed up and unplayable.maybe due to stagefright or the lack of an ARMv7 CPU? I use the normal Gingerbread Live Wallpaper, buttery smooth if you ask me. Then again, I do come from a Hero so any Live Wallpaper is smooth to me. Edited May 24, 2011 by k0zmic
Guest Fou-lu Posted May 24, 2011 Report Posted May 24, 2011 Nice, improved FPSE, bof4 and tenchu 2 work at full speed without frameskip and with spu sync enabled.

I had a F480 Tocco and then a LG Viewty and then a Hero and then Blade. The thought of Java games and apps makes me cringe. Before all those I had the Razr V3. Test 2: Tried Monster Madness. Doesn't load at all. Edited May 24, 2011 by k0zmic
Guest slitz Posted May 26, 2011 Report Posted May 26, 2011 (edited) C'mon, the Java games weren't that bad! I loved my SE z710i, it supported 3D java games (Devil May Cry 3 Mobile and Intelligent Qube (known as Kurushi in the PAL region)) so I guess I'm partially spoilt. :P So we don't need to overclock or anything to install these? So it works on stock clock?! Woohoo, time to crack out some FPSE! I very wish for Bushido Blade to run at close to fullspeed without frameskip. No wait, time to crack out Robot Unicorn Attack! Guest slitz Posted July 4, 2011 Report Posted July 4, 2011 (edited) Works as it says on the tin, even on the 2.3 leak, what more information do you want? Edited July 4, 2011 by slitz
