My First ZTE Blade - will not turn ON after charging

My first android phone , so advice needed please

Mod version CyanogenMod 7.0.0 Blade

Kennel 2.6.32.9

Android 2.3.3

Build GRI40

When I un plug the phone after its fully charged , its dead . Ive tried every combination of pressing the power button , but it will not start . The only way I can get it to start , is by removing the battery and putting it back , then press the power button . The phone will then start up normally and works fine. This problem happens each time I charge the phone .

Ive no idea what to try next ?
