Actions like backup and restore, fix permissions and partition all work from RM. Can't really say about flashing a rom though, as there aren't any u8800 roms in RM yet. Since those other things work it's probably safe to say that it will work fine though, since the mount points are all line up correctly and no operations have been removed.
