Selling my ZTE Blade.....

Well its been an emotional time :rolleyes: but think its time to sell the Blade and upgrading.

Been looking at the Huawei U8800 which Paul has been playing with over the last few days.

He has already rooted it and tweaked the kernel. The performance seems great and hardware not to shabby either!

It also seems to be easily modified with unlocked bootloader and Kernel Source already available.

The Wireless N and 5mp Camera is what really attracts me :P

Instruction set the processor runs with, having an Arm v7 will mean Flash works!

If you feel like getting a phone with a keyboard you could try the Desire Z at CPW for £200, it's pretty much the same thing as the X5 except it has a keyboard and is heavier (not sure if people like the weight, but I love it since it feels really solid in the hand).

Hardware sure is better than Blades

edit: Actually it doesn't look fugly in pictures but when I saw it in store, it was ugly.

Yes currently only a few ROMs available but someone on XDA is working on an Unofficial Cyanogen7 ROM maybe Paul will do a Modaco Custom ROM too?

Also yes can be overclocked if you look on XDA there is an overclocked ROM on their.
