Guest targetbsp Posted May 26, 2011 Report Posted May 26, 2011 For those not following the main thread, if you're put off by the lack of autobrightness, you can resolve this using a free app called AutomateIt to turn off autobrightness during a call and back on again after the call. You can also do the same in Tasker (which is a paid app) if you have that.
Guest suriya83 Posted May 26, 2011 Report Posted May 26, 2011 that is a cool thing! thanks! maybe you could add in the first posts what are the bugs that are still there. so that new people are not complaining afterwards. LG
Guest targetbsp Posted May 26, 2011 Report Posted May 26, 2011 There aren't any substantial bugs for most people using this combination of files. That's why it's so popular (as were a few requests for just this pre-prepared setup) despite the fact the nightlies are in the mid 80's. The official bug list is here: http://code.google.com/p/cyanogenmod/issue...amp;cells=tiles Anything that says ShouldBeFixed is fixed. And libaudio patch fixes 3700 'Battery Drain' Most of what's left will affect specific minority uses or only certain people - so you need to decide for yourselves whether CM7 is ready for you or not.
Guest _amano Posted May 26, 2011 Report Posted May 26, 2011 Psyloid, please add the information if you added the new libaudio.so from yesterday or the older one that is floating around for a week or so...

Guest dadashi Posted May 26, 2011 Report Posted May 26, 2011 (edited) Great to have this thread...I've been using fixedN72 for about a week, it's the best recent nightie I suppose we can talk about apps as well as other CM issues here which we can't in the CM thread... Is the camera app the standard one from CM without VGA recording? If I dont want launcher-pro or other apps can I just remove them from the system/app in the zip file...? Can I remove all the apps from ...system/app as I've already got all the apps I want installed? Does "blade wifi fix" solve the cm wifi reconnection issue after standby? Edited May 26, 2011 by dadashi
Guest Psyloid Posted May 26, 2011 Report Posted May 26, 2011 There will be a V2 very soon (i'm learning quickly) which will fix sip routing, have google apps included and much more :P so if you can wait a few days or hours , hehe
Guest Psyloid Posted May 26, 2011 Report Posted May 26, 2011 If I dont want launcher-pro or other apps can I just remove them from the system/app in the zip file...? Does "blade wifi fix" solve the cm wifi reconnection issue after standby? if you remove launcher pro, there will be no launcher left and you will be in big problems, other apps can be removed to some extend, you might break stuff if you remove the wrong app though, i will consider making a light version as well blade wifi fix, does exactly what you described :P now enough for the talk, i get to work

VM heap tool is unnecessary 'cause you can adjust VM heap in CM settings. Btw nice bootanimation. I have been using that for ages on my phone. Edited May 26, 2011 by Pelemane

I have been using that for ages on my phone. :P a. got a suggestion for a better one, i will look into it b. VM heap setting is limited to 32 in cm, some users prefer 48, hence the app c. best boot anim ever !!
