I attempted to root my device and then upgrade to Froyo a few months ago. When I turn it on now it says baseband unknown in the settings. If I do a factory reset its does not fix the baseband. I am also unable to make phone calls. When I download the Froyo update from the dell website using wifi it hangs during the install and gets stuck on the dell logo.

Is there a way to update the baseband? I am new to modding so if there is a step by step guide to this process it would be amazing.

I'm new to the streak scene and still don't know much about versions but the QDL tool will defiantly help you here

Although it may not be the fastest or easiest way. I would offer a link to your stock AT&T baseband for fastboot but I just can't find it

Here is a guide to "unlock" and flash an old leak-release of 2.2 for the AT&T streak:

http://www.calazan.com/how-to-upgrade-your...roid-2-2-froyo/

Seems to be a pretty good guide but completely untested.

You may want to hold off doing this in case you or anyone else posts a better way but if not :P

QDL tool totally did the trick! What an amazing app running Froyo 2.2 on Baseband 305! I am going to make another donation to the team! Everyone is always so helpful here! Much appreciated....
