Is this the end of CM7 on the Blade?

According to twitter looks like at least one of the devs working on CM7 has had enough of the blade. This combined with the lack of recent nightly releases suggests CM7 Blade support is on the ropes. I hope not.

I was really looking forward to a final beautiful release. I fully appreciate all the hard work these guys have put in, hope they will not finish before the job is done and wish them every success in the future.

Incidentally no CM7 nightly for any other phone yesterday or (so far) today either so I wouldn't draw anything from there being no CM7 nightly for blade.

Perhaps this is a good time to remind CM's fans of the donation feature. :P Even just a little bit from a lot of people will soon add up considering the number of us! And as a youngster I'm sure he has little in the way of income and outgoings so I'm sure even a little would be appreciated by him. Rumour or not, it can't hurt to convince him we're worth it. :rolleyes:

I agree. Last month I donated 20GBP to one of the devs and to my surprise this seemed a bit of a rarity. Especially for the ones working amongst us (quite a few I would say) surely it shouldn't be too hard to make a small donation like this. If 10 people do it, it adds up to a nice sum. This is really an encouragement for the developers, especially when you are still studying and have no income. That way we can be sure we will get a nice and stable CM7 version for the Blade.

I went lower than that - not working. :P I guess the issue is that by definition, most Blade users will be people not wanting to spend a lot of money on a phone. I would think the thing to think is that no donation is too small. There's probably hundreds out there thinking well I could only donate a little so I won't bother as it's not worth it. That's the position I was in for a while. But think what that will add up to though if half the people in the CM7 thread donated even just a little. Do it. :rolleyes:

Many many bluetooth bugs. (HID / headset pretty much unusable)

wifi (At least with newer atheros wireless n 2.0 devices (somewhat improved with softbank and newer kernel module).

GPS issue still exists (just less frequent).

No FM radio (Not that I think that matters at all)

wifi never sleep policy not working.

No usb tethering.

many more minor bugs.
