Guest RichKS Posted May 27, 2011 Report Posted May 27, 2011 Bit of a noob, haven't used CWM before. Trying to flash to the new beta of Vegacomb, I love messing with this stuff! My Vega is currently running the MoDaCo r8 rom, which has been fine-ish, but I want to poke the new Vegacomb. r8 appears to come with CWM, but then I select the the "recovery" app from the drawer, it re-boots, but there are no options. I see the green android guy, then the recovery screen, but with no options. Is there something else I need to do to get CWM working? Should it just work with r8 out of the box? There aren't any instructions in the Vegacomb thread ;^( Yes I know it's not ready for prime time!

Please follow the instructions found in this post : http://android.modaco.com/content/advent-v...he-advent-vega/ Scroll down to the part where it displays commands where you must input to either the Command Prompt if you're using Windows or Terminal for LInux or Mac. The Clock Work Mod will hang if you don't do what it says on that post. S

Guest RichKS Posted May 27, 2011 Report Posted May 27, 2011 Ah, got it. The recovery app is installed, but not the other stuff. So obviously it's not working. Makes sense. Cheers for the input guys!
