Guest Posted May 28, 2011 Report Posted May 28, 2011 (edited) so basically you have only changed build prop, deleted apps(some essential like spare parts) Added some apps of your choice. What actual fixes have you done to 7.0.3 ? For example Psyloid :P fixed some of the bugs or is it not changed and with the same problems that came with 7.0.3 when CM released it ?(I cannot recall what they where but sure there where some) Edited May 28, 2011 by Guest

Applications that I have included, might like not everyone, are designed to avoid the use of physical buttons because of its fragility and enhance aspects such as move applications to the SD regardless of scripts, etc Psyloid is based on the nightly 85, these errors have been solved by Cyanogen in this version... , his build.prop not include more changes than mine, you can compare it with the original if you want... change the bootanimation is only to add a file to media folder, and if you want I continue... http://forum.samdroid.net/f57/great-boot-a...075/#post105936 Edited May 28, 2011 by ilopez85

My questions which is what this was about,I see no wrong. If I am to install a rom I want to know what I am installing on my wonderful blade. There was no insult intended, just wanted to know if any bugs from 7.0.3 are still present

If I am to install a rom I want to know what I am installing on my wonderful blade. There was no insult intended, just wanted to know if any bugs from 7.0.3 are still present I have not changed the kernel or any system library (exam time in university...), and the battery drain errors or lack of FM radio still present. The battery life can be improve by doing a wipe battery stats from the recovery after a full charge and turning off Bluetooth, GPS and Synchronization when we will not use them. If you decide to try it is important to follow the steps I have wrote (recommended by Cyanogen team (http://forum.cyanogenmod.com/topic/20137-cyanogenmod-7-for-the-zte-blade-v703 -5-May-2011/://http://forum.cyanogenmod.com/topic/...03 -5-May-2011/://http://forum.cyanogenmod.com/topic/...03 -5-May-2011/) to avoid problems with gapps included in ROM in subsequent installations. Battery drain is no worry since i keep eveything off unless it is being used. I find leaving data on is the biggest drain so unless using the browser it stays 2g. Thanks for the battery tip,was not aware of that one.Would that be doing the same as using the calibration app ? Edited May 28, 2011 by Guest

In theory this application does the same (https://market.android.com/details?id=com.n...e=search_result) but personally I still prefer to do it from the recovery
Guest unrandomsam Posted May 28, 2011 Report Posted May 28, 2011 You should at least build from the gingerbread-release branch (What should have been 7.0.4) Its got the charging bug fix for a start.
