Can't see my contacts- Help!

Hi guys, hope you can help with my Gen 1 TFT OSF.

Today, for some strange reason, my contacts have disappeared! I know they're still in the phone somewhere as I can still search them in GoSMS so I can text them. There are also contact details in my call log but they don't appear in my contacts list.

I've tried re-syncing my google account but to no avail. All contact display options have been selected. I re-flashed my rom (SS5) and still no joy.

Has anyone else had this problem or similar?

Otherwise, the ROM has been great and I've had no other problems.

Very odd, if you go onto your Google account on a computer are your contacts are all there?

Yep, they're all there. :P

There should be an option to choose which contacts are visible, the method differs depending on the rom(which dialer you use) try clicking menu and see if it says display options and select your gmail accounts and make sure the visible checkbox is ticked

Edit-sorry just read after posting that youve tried that, but check it again, pretty sure that would be the reason

When you say youve resysnced the contacts, have you wiped the previous contact database first, under clear data in the applications list in settings?

To be honest, I didn't want to do that in case I can't find my contact details anywhere.

go onto gmail on your pc and export your contact list and save it to your pc just to be safe, always good to have a backup anyway, you can always reimport them later if they get deleted
