Hi

Could someone please help me??

I cannot make auto brightness to work at all. I have asked this several times, but no answers

Can someone who has it fully working provide me some tips??

I have bb67 with v.1.6.9 stock kernel

1.7 doesnt seem to work for me...

recently on 1.6.9 BB67, clear all necessary cache, factory reset, dalvik etc then install 1.7 thru xrec...

1.7 boots up and running for the first few minute.. then the screen goes black...

then i factory reset and try to reinstall 1.6.9, it couldnt even bootup... blank screen...

solution is to flash stock 2.1 rom, install 1.6.9 and restore evrything using MIUIbackup....

i hope the final release would be a smooth sailing... screen quality is the best!! :)

Hi.Very thanks for this nice ROM.i installed it and really like it.i have signal (also wifi is working fine) but i have problem with phone and sms.when i try to call is shows busy and also cant receive incoming call.I am using base band 67. now what i will do to get working call and phone?

Reboot, or try turning flight mode on and off, 1.7.0 did this to me this weekend too when I was traveling and lost signal connection, once I got back into a cell signal area the radio came up but the data did not, turned on flight mode, waited a minute, turned it off, every thing came back up....Hasn't happened since????????

I've reboot thousand of times, I've flash again 3 times.. still without DATA Network.. no 3g no edge..

Shall I flash again from the biginning?

From where would you people recommend me???

yes both of them are disabled. still i cant use phone and SMS. crashed system servers many time but still no result!

In settings, about phone, does the base band show anything??? What bband and how did ya set up the new rom??

thanks for your help.it shows 2.1.67

i setup like ever.enable use only 2g(i tested to turn it off and restart and still no result ).skip Google account and set it up later.nothing else!

Edit: Trying to wipe everything and flash it again! i will say result soon...

I ReFlashed and now everything works fine B) . the only thing i did in last flash setup is that i disabled use only 2g mode and now after reflash and dont change it and now i have working sms and call. maybe the problem was from changing that setting in first setup?

What base band is showing in the about phone settings?? If ya flashed this like three times, then something is for sure off, either wrong base band for the version of the rom or???

Start from beginning. Restore ur phone via Seus. Root ur phone

Format ur SD card.

I been using Viganette version 2011.01.17...on TripN v1.7...flash is working...but not with the latest Viganette..

Trip ur like the OG for X10.... who will b the shot caller? Know this #1 post for me but thought would be my way of showing gratitude. You know when its enough for X10, well you had urs. Been using your implements since the origin of X10 xrecovery. Best wishes to you and your future GB works, know you wont leave us hanging. was reading ur post. do want a flash as you press to take picture simultaneously. not sure if camera did this. but if you just want light from LED during picture that is different and very possible.

No, not simultaneously. With the firmware 2.1 each camera app used the flash differently. One of them turned the flash on when I activated it in the settings of the app. The other one (Vignette) turned it on first when I pressed the camera button half way down, to autofocus, and turned it off when I opened the menu or closed the app. Is there a way to make it work like the same way? You said it's very possible..

I'm running 1.7.0 with BB67 and the march kernel from BB65. I didnt set up any settings for the camera. Hit the app button, the camera came on, I focused on the object and took pictures. This picture (see attached) was taken with the stock camera app.
